EFT User Interface For TIC (Turkish Clearing System)

All types of message are ready to use in EFT/400 Interface software.
EFT&EMKT software EFT/400 has messages format files for every message that is used in this system. Also, EFT/400's "Core Banking Integration Module" use this format files to find out the message type and create the eft messages from the raw data of banking applications.

Message Recovery can be done for every phase of interactive message exchange. In this Protocol(FASTWIRE EFT&EMKT Protocol), the messages received and accepted by the AS/400 be controlled and corrected by the authorized user (Treasury Department). So if the message exchange is interrupted by any reason; the protocol can continue from that interrupted point(Committed breakpoint).

There is something is new at EFT-II&EMKT system that the PARTIAL Messages. These messages comes from the TIC as separate messages but has same Inquiry Numbers and same Message System Codes. The piece of the every partial messages can be not only at the same format but also different format. So these messages are shown to user as one message and processed as one Transaction at the Host(AS/400) side.

Receiving Bank, Branch, City and Sending Bank, Branch, City Codes should be verified from "Bank/Branch Update Menu". This verification should be done from a Bank/Branch/City Codes File that is identical with the RC. So the currency of this file is a user responsibility(To make no mistake and repetition).

Message release limits can be set from the limit control menu.

Statistical Reports and inquiries are supplied in ordered form for all messages and for all fields of the messages totally and separately.

End of day operations and backup processes done by the Interface automatically.

OUTGOING EFT MESSAGE ENTRY MENU

Message entry is done from this menu, all the rule checks done by entry module. After the entry, message sended to verification menu. Receiving Bank,Branch,City and Sending Bank,Branch,City Codes verified from these menu. If a message is rejected by the RC FASTWIRE software due to the wrong branch code; this message automatically fall back this menu to be corrected and sended again.

OUTGOING EFT MESSAGE VERIFICATION MENU

Message verification is done from this menu, a message is can not be verified by the same user that makes the entry of this messages. In verification menu, message amount is not shown. Because this amount must be verified from the instruction of the message that signed the customer.

OUTGOING EFT MESSAGE RELEASE MENU

Message release process is done from this menu. This menu is used by the Backoffice or Operation Department. This is the last process for the outgoing message.

OUTGOING EFT MESSAGE LIMITED RELEASE MENU(LIMIT IS SUPPLIED BY DEALING ROOM)

Only the messages that below the limits are released from this menu. Limits are defined by the Dealing Room Department. This menu is used by the Backoffice or Operation Department. This is the last process for the outgoing message.

INCOMING EFT MESSAGE ENTRY&CORRECTION MENU

Acceptance of the messages, correction of the account number,name,surname are done by this menu. Original and the changed information of the messages are displayed together.

INCOMING EFT MESSAGE VERIFICATION MENU FOR CORRECTED MESSAGES

Account procedures and verification of incoming messages are done by this menu.

Original and the changed information of the messages are displayed together. Because verifier want to see the original informations of the messages that comes from the RC.

EFT MESSAGE OBSERVATION MENU

All the Incoming and Outgoing messages are followed up from this menu. Status of the messages can be observed and inquired, ENTRY/VERIFICATION/RELEASE times and users can be viewed from this menu.

DEALING ROOM MESAJ OBSERVATION MENU

All the Incoming and Outgoing messages are followed up from this menu by inquiries. Counts, sums, differences of:
• All Incoming messages
• All Outgoing messages
• Messages waiting for ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
• ACKNOWLEDGED messages.

EFT BANK AND BRANCH(CIF) VIEW AND UPDATE MODULE

Bank and Branch codes changes are announced by Central Bank of Turkey (CBT) with the " HABR-BANK " messages to the banks. W.r.t. this message, user makes the necessary changes from this menu.

MESSAGE RELEASE LIMITS CONTROL MENU

Message Release Limits defined from this menu. Menu is used by the Dealing Room Department.

MESSAGE PRIORITY GENERATOR MODULE

Message priorities are generated automatically by this module. Priority parameters are defined by the Central Bank of Turkey (CBT) Real Time Gross Settlement Department and announced to the banks. This parameters can be changed by the authorized backoffice users.

MENU DEFINITION MENU

Menu definitions for the users are done by this menu.

USER DEFINITION MENU

Users of the EFT system are defined from this menu. Branch codes and current working status(Enable/Disable) of users are set from this menu.

USER AUTHORIZATION/VALIDATION MENU

If a user added to EFT system this user firstly be inactive in the system. Also if a menu added or deleted to/from a user, user be inactive. This user fall down the validation queue and must be validated by this menu.

EFT OPERATION MODULE

Eft Operator can manage the RC FASTWIRE Interface from this menu.

Also Processes of EFT Integration Module(for Core Banking System) can be managed from this module.

EFT STATISTIC AND REPORT UTILITIES

User can do lots of inquiry about all the messages that has been processed by this system.

Count of messages, messages amounts, sum of them according to message types can be reported by this utility.

END OF DAY MODULE

This module backup the daily files and clear them and update the business day.

DATA AND CHARACTER SET MODULE

With this module EFT User and On-Line Interfaces have no EBCDIC/ASCII conversion and Turkish Character Problems.
