Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) :

The Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the US Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, and those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. OFAC acts under Presidential wartime and national emergency powers, as well as authority granted by specific legislation, to impose controls on transactions and freeze foreign assets under US jurisdiction.

The Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering(FATF) blacklists are imported in SKAY database. Blacklist module manages abbreviations, acronyms, firstname initials, compound and concatenated words during message entries and decides the status of the message.(PASS, PENDING or FAILED) Module can be used from the menu for inquiry of names, addresses, countries, companies, banking codes and vessels.

Black List : In this menu users can manually search the active blacklists and also add,delete and update the records.Users can search records according to names or adresses in chosen blacklists.

Criterions : This menu is used for defining,updating,deleting criterions.The Criterion's Codes are defined for users by admins.

Active List : This menu is used for defining,updating,deleting blacklists and also determining the state of blacklists that they are in active or passive state.Blacklists are appreciated when they are in active state.

Limits : Limit Profiles are determined for Criterions according to Currency Code and Currency Value. Users can add,update,delete limit profiles.

Excepted Words : In searching process of blacklists some general words (bank , Mr ,company corp.etc ) can be found almost in every record so in this menu users can except words which confuse the searching results.

Update Blacklists : Users can add records to blacklists that defined in Active List Menu and also update and delete them.
